Every year friends and family get together in York, Maine for a week.
This year I thought it would be fun to teach the kids how to paint my colorful Driftwood Fish.
After a day at the beach it was so fun to sit in the sunshine in the back yard of the cottage and paint together.
They all did a wondeful job!
In the evening they were excited to gather there own drift wood they found on Short Sands Beach. Each plan to paint more fish when they got home..
Pictured holding some sea blue jeweled fish are Brelee and Audra.

Driftwood Fish Art by Kate Bangs
Drift wood fish Art.
This week The Periwinkle Painters are working on a cottage in falmoutth Ma. Here I am gluing a star fish on this great old door and then painting it a crisp clean white. While I was there I got to take some picture of my Maine Driftwood fish on the local beach.
I Just added that new fish to my etsy shop The Shabby Pink Cottage. I love to work with the bright colors, vintage jewels and buttons.

Marie Antoinette Romantic Business Card and Tag Set
I love a romantic business card. I designed this Marie Antoinette set to have a vintage French feel. I used a classic portrait, aged fabrics, sparkling jewels and a French royal crown. This set can be customised with any business name and tag line you like. It is in a JPG file format so you can print them at home.
